Who needs seals anyway? Not the Grand Am’s thermostat apparently.
New up top, old down below.
The thermostat housing is a bit of a pain to get to on the EcoTec but it wasn’t impossible. Pour some new coolant in and bleed it out and now it warms up quick and holds a steady 200 degrees.
I think my brother owes me dinner now for fixing his car again.

Idk man, I had to do one on the Ecotec once and it was a pretty big pain. Just getting that stupid seal to seal was hard enough, plus it’s location is just stupid.
